Slimline card with adorable little piggies.

 

This Mama Elephant, Hogs and Kissis stamp is so cute, it makes me happy. It was also a lot of fun making this slimline card. A slimline card fits perfectly in a business envelope in terms of size, but for this occasion I have made a suitable festive envelope.I colored the background of the card with Distress Oxide ink and the pigs and balloons with Copic markers.

Deze stempel van Mama Elephant, Hogs and Kissis is zo schattig, daar wordt ik helemaal blij van. Het was ook erg leuk om deze slimline kaart te maken. Een slimline kaart past qua afmeting prima in een zakelijke envelop, maar voor deze gelegenheid heb ik er een passende feestelijke envelop  bij gemaakt. Ik heb de achtergrond van de kaart ingekleurd met Distress Oxide inkt en de varkentjes en de ballonnen met Copic markers.

March 2020 Hip Kit Club - Beautiful 8 X 8 Layout.

 I received my March 2020 Hip Kit Club scrapbook kit https://www.hipkitclub.net/ and I was so happy!  This kit is so full of color and the embellishments are so cheerful, exactly what we need in this difficult time. 

I had a picture of this beautiful sweet lady, her name is May ....

And the colors of this photo matched the colors of the March 2020 Kit exactly.

De inhoud is zo vol kleur en vol vrolijke embellishments, precies wat we in deze moeilijke tijd nodig hebben. Ik had nog een foto van deze mooie  lieve dame, haar naam is May...

De kleuren van deze foto passen precies bij de kleuren van de March 2020 kit.

I pasted a piece of the rainbow paper onto the watercolor paper. On the left I sewed a strip of paper with my sewing machine. And I also did that with a strip of paper about 1 cm. from the bottom.

I sewed the little tab on the right with the sewing machine and added a date. The 'Beautiful' puffy sticker and the rest of the embellishments are from the kit. 

Ik heb een stuk regenboogpapier op het aquarelpapier geplakt. Aan de linkerkant heb ik strook papier genaaid met mijn naaimachine. En dat heb ik ook met een strook papier op ongeveer 1 cm. van de onderkant gedaan. De tab rechts heb ik met de naaimachine vastgenaaid en de datum op de tab geplakt. De 'Beautiful' puffy sticker en de rest van de embellishments komen uit de kit.

Photo standard - Loving Paper.

For the magazine Loving Paper 2 I designed this fun photo standard. Do you still have photos of the vacation, a nice trip, or school photos of the children or grandchildren? Or nice baby photos that have not yet been framed?

Then make this fun black and white kraft with a little color photo standard. And write handwritten texts.

Voor het blad Loving Paper 2 ontwierp ik deze leuke fotostandaard. Heb je nog foto’s liggen van de vakantie, een mooie reis, of schoolfoto’s van de kinderen of kleinkinderen? Of leuke babyfoto’s waarvoor je nog geen lijst hebt.

Maak dan deze leuke zwart-wit-kraft met een beetje kleur fotostandaard. En schrijf er zelf leuke teksten bij.

What do you need?

Cardboard, black, white, kraft and some scraps of colored cardstock, bakers twine, nice stamps, stamping ink, fun foam or 3D tape, markers, glue, Cinch and binding wires (or loose rings). White Gelly Rollpen, white Posca or Gouache.

Wat heb je nodig?

Karton, zwart-, wit- kraft- en wat restjes gekleurd cardstock, bakers twine, leuke stempels, stempelinkt, fun foam of 3D tape, markers, lijm, Cinch en binding wires (of losse ringen). Witte Gelly Rollpen, witte Posca of Gouache.

How to make it?

Cut and score the photo standard according to the measurements on the drawing. Cover the back of the stand, the back of pages and the front and back of the base with black cardstock. Make your own design paper with fun stamps and glue it on the front of the front and back of the stand and on the front of the pages. Stamp some extra figures and cut them out. Color them here and there and glue fun foam or 3D tape on the back. Attach the extra figures around the photos and texts. Stick a 1.5 cm strip of colored cardstock below the front and back of the stand and below each page. high. Embellish the photo standard according to your own ideas and punch the holes according to the drawing. Attach the front and back of the stand to the top with the binding wire or the rings. Attach the bottom and the front and back of the stand together by stringing the bakers through the holes and tie them.

Hoe maak je het?

Snijd en score de fotostandaard volgens de maten op de tekening. Beplak de achterkant van de standaard, de achterkant van pagina’s en de voor- en achterkant van het bodemstuk met zwart cardstock. Maak met leuke stempels je eigen designpapier en lijm deze op de voorkant van de voor- en achterkant van de standaard en op de voorkant van de pagina’s. Stempel wat extra figuren en knip deze uit. Kleur ze hier en daar in en lijm fun foam of 3D tape op de achterkant. Bevestig de extra figuren rond de foto’s en teksten. Plak onderaan de voor- en achterkant van de standaard en onder elke pagina een reep gekleurd cardstock van 1,5 cm. hoog.  Embellish de fotostandaard naar eigen idee en pons de gaatjes volgens de tekening. Maak de voor- en achterkant van de standaard aan de bovenkant vast met de binding wire of de ringen. Bevestig de bodem en de voor- en achterkant van de standaard aan elkaar door het bakers door de gaatjes te rijgen en vast strikken.
