Distress Ink Lifting Technique, Cards and Scrap 25.

I love to try out new techniques. With the best techniques I make greeting cards and a step by step guide for the readers of the Cards and Scrap magazine. For Edition 25 is this the Distress Ink Lifting technique. It allows you to create beautiful cards in Nice bright colours. Use sturdy white paper, that tolerates a little bit of water. Stamp with Versamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Then rub your Distress inkpad across the print and divide the ink with your blending tool. Remove a bit of the ink from the flower and stem with a moist brush. Absorb it with kitchen paper towel and color directly in with a different color Distress ink. Clean the heat embossed print with a baby wipe and tissue.

Ik vind het heerlijk om nieuwe technieken uit te proberen. Met de leukste technieken maak ik voorbeeldkaarten en een stap-voor-stap uitleg voor de lezers van het blad Cards and Scrap. Voor uitgave 25 is dit de Distress Ink Lifting Techniek. Hiermee kun je prachtige kaarten maken in mooie heldere kleuren. Gebruik stevig wit papier, dat een beetje water kan verdragen. Je stempelt met Versamark en heat embossed de afdruk met wit embossing poeder. Daarna wrijf je met de Distress inkpad over de gehele afdruk en verdeel je de inkt met je blending tool. Verwijder voor de bloem en de steel met een vochtig kwastje een beetje van de inkt. Absorbeer de opgeloste inkt met een stuk keukenpapier en kleur direct in met een andere kleur Distress inkt. Maak de afdruk voorzichtig schoon met een babydoekje en tissue.
