The Colour Me! challenge for this week is Mossy Meadow and neutral.
I've used Green Bister powder to create the background for this card. I just sprinkled bister on watercolour paper and sprayed it with a mini mister and water. The flower is made with the good old Tim Holtz Tattered Flower die. I bought that die for many years now, and still using it. The money payed for this die is well-spent. I finished it off with some enamel dots.
Supplies:
- Dies: Tim Holtz Alterations Tattered Florals, Lawn Fawn Scripted Hugs, Lawn Fawn Rectangle Dies
- Ink: Bister Green
- Paper: Crafter's Companion Neenah Classic Crest card, Vellum, Bazzill white cardstock
- Adhesive: Permanent glue runner; foam tape;
- Embellishments: Brad from my stash, Hug Snug seam binding, Eyelet Outlet and Brads enamel dots

Wow--that flower is stunning! No wonder you're still using the die :D
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHi Julia,
VerwijderenYou can make a few different flowers with this die and it even cuts cardboard.

OMG, what a background!!!! The flower, bow and sentiment, everything is on the right place, makes a good company for such a special background!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHi Valentyna,
VerwijderenThanks for your sweet comment! Making a monochromatic card with Mossy Meadow was a real challenge, but it was a real pleasure to make the card.

I have never heard of Bister before, but it looks really nice on your card! The darker background makes the flower really pop out!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHi LInda,
VerwijderenBister is a natural dye from the nut husk and is mainly used for coloring wood. It is supplied in dry form.

This is really pretty! I love the background and all the embellishment used. I have never had large flower die as I never thought I would use it, but I think it is actually a good die to have! Thank you for sharing your work, Antonia. :)
