Always Playing with Paper 'Celebrating Teacher's challenge #36.

I had the privilege to be guest designer for Always Playing with Paper.

And I decided to make a teachers appreciation card without the usual apples, pencils etc. I was initially a little nervous because because I had just a few days to make the card. But when I started to design the card, the feeling of pressure disappeared and I enjoyed making it. I hope to have the opportunity to be a guest designer for Always Playing with Paper again.

Ik heb het voorrecht guest designer te zijn voor Always Playing with Paper. http://alwaysplayingwithpaper.blogspot.nl/ De uitdaging is ‘Celebrating Teachers’ en het leek mij leuk om een bedankkaart voor de leerkracht te maken zonder de gebruikelijke appeltjes, potloden etc. Omdat ik maar een paar dagen tijd had voor deze opdracht, was ik aanvankelijk wel wat zenuwachtig. Maar toen ik eenmaal bezig ging, verdween deze druk snel en heb ik met veel plezier deze kaart gemaakt. Ik heb het een leuke opdracht gevonden en hoop in de toekomst nog eens guest designer te zijn voor Always Playing with Paper.

I love making shaker cards, to make fun combinations with beads and sequins.

This week’s Friday’s Mashup! FM209 challenge is all about Celebrations.

The colors of the challenge are beautiful and very suitable for a masculine card.

Although the colors of the challenge are very masculine, is this shaker card is suitable to be sent to a male and a female.

Ik vind het leuk om een schudkaart te maken, heerlijk om de vulling samen te stellen met kraaltjes en pailletjes. De Friday’s Mashup! FM209 challenge van deze week staat helemaal in het teken van feestvreugde. De kleuren van de challenge zijn erg mooi en ook heel geschikt voor een mannen kaart. Hoewel de kleuren uit de challenge mannelijk zijn, is deze shaker card geschikt om zowel aan een man als aan een vrouw te sturen.

When I saw the challenge at Always Playing with Paper, I knew I had to participate.
The colors are so beautiful and gives such a summer feeling. To get the right colors I had to mix up some ink colors. And I didn't have the right enamel colors, so I colored white enamel dots with a copic marker.

Toen ik deze uitdaging zag bij Always Playing with Paper, wist ik dat ik met deze uitdaging mee wilde doen. De kleuren zijn zo mooi en geven een zomers gevoel. Om de juiste kleuren te krijgen, heb ik een aantal kleuren gemixt. Ook had ik niet de juiste kleuren enamel dots, daarom heb ik witte enamel dots gekleurd met een Copic marker.
