Hang In There card ~ FM#241

The Friday Mashup!challenge for this week is involving zoo animals.  And a another part of this challenge is making fancy folds ~ joy fold, twisted fold, free-standing pop-up, triangle tri fold or flip-flop card. As you all may already know; I love critters. So I had a blast making this zoo card. I choose to make a Centre Step Card for the fancy fold part. This is not difficult to make and there a lots of templates to find on the www.

You made this world so Lovely card ~ the Friday Mashup #240

Lisa is this weeks host at the Friday Mashup! I rotated Lisa's sketch 90 degrees because I liked it better that way. The adorable piggy is made with the Lovely Critter stamp from Create a smile. The hearts are made with the Color your heart out stamp, also from Create a smile. I've colored the hearts and pig and the colorful ombre background with distress ink. After the ink had dried, I stamped the woodgrain with Versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder. I'm happy the way my card turned out.

Let It Snow - the Friday Mashup 239

I'm running a little bit late with my blogpost because my computer crashed! I manage to fix the problems and so here it is: this week's Mashup Challenge!  Create a project featuring at least 3 of the colors above and Neutral of your choice. Or Create a project featuring Snow/Snowflakes, or Mash it up! and create a Snow themed project using the colors above. The winter has been very mild, it was more like a long fall. But this weekend is the first snow fell and fits this Friday Mashup! challenge well! I've made the background for my card with Distress reinkers and some water. When the bg had dried, I added blue ink splashes and some splashes with white acrylic paint diluted with water. I die cutted the snow crystals and saved them for a future project. I added dark blue sequins for some sparkle. The sentiment looks a little bit spotty, but there are little snowflakes printed on the dark blue paper. It's hard to see on the picture. The bg looks a little bit yellow, but is really white.

Supplies:
Stamps: Royal Langnickel; Snowflakes stamps
Paper: Bazzill basics, watercolor paper
Die: CraftEmotions; Snow Crystals
Ink: Distress Ink; Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky and Pumice Stone
Embossing: Versamark, Inkadinkado Linen white embossing powder
Embellishments: Gutermann Dark Blue sequins

Welcome to the first Friday Mashup! challenge for 2016! This week it's all about Super Heroes! I had great fun coloring my fishy buddies! But I had a boo-boo while I was making this card; my odorless mineral spirit fell on my colored fishy buddies! When the paper was dry, it looked ok.
